Bonnett specializes in helping adult women who are struggling with complex trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Her expertise also extends to addressing the needs of LGBTQ2+ people, those with ADHD as well as social anxiety. Bonnett has extensive experience with trauma and uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to guide her clients toward healing.

Education and Training

Bonnett holds a master's degree in Adlerian Psychotherapy and counseling from the Adler Graduate School, where she received training for professional clinical counseling and marriage and family therapy counseling. She holds a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota.

She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Attachment issues. She attends conferences and avails herself of continual continuing education training.

In addition to her private practice, she is a full-time psychotherapist in a residential mental health facility, addressing the needs of youth and their parents.
